Precision Pest Control covers Marana across its full range, from the cotton and grain ground along the Santa Cruz River up to the resort and golf development at Dove Mountain and the Tortolita foothills. Few towns we service have this much distance between their two halves, and the pest work reflects it.

Marana contains two very different environments. On the agricultural side along the Santa Cruz, we handle field mice, pocket gophers, crickets, flies and the mosquitoes that follow flood irrigation. Up at Dove Mountain and along the Tortolita foothills it shifts to bark scorpions, giant hairy scorpions, desert centipedes, tarantulas, pack rats in vehicles and equipment, and rattlesnakes. Irrigated golf turf brings its own turf insects and rodents. Subterranean termites and black widows are found across the whole town.
On the farm side of Marana the driver is the crop cycle. Cotton and grain ground supports large rodent populations, and when a field is harvested those animals lose cover overnight and head for structures. Treating on a fixed monthly schedule guarantees you are out of step with that. We track the fields adjoining the neighborhoods we service, put the exterior rodent line on that boundary, and increase service around harvest instead of after somebody finds droppings in a pantry.
Dove Mountain and the foothills need the opposite approach. That is desert interface work at elevation, where homes sit in preserved native vegetation against the Tortolitas, and scorpions live in the rock and decorative granite within a few feet of the foundation. Here the job is exclusion first, sealing weep holes, stucco stops, tile roof ends and garage seals, then treating the ground line and the granite band, with a night black light sweep to verify. The irrigated golf corridors in between get treated at the transition between turf and desert, which is where the pressure concentrates.
