Precision Pest Control covers Aurora from the older grid streets near Colfax Avenue and Original Aurora out to newer subdivisions past E-470 and Southlands. The city stretches across three counties and a wide range of housing ages, so a call in one part of town rarely looks like a call ten miles away. We work single-family homes, apartment complexes near Fitzsimons, and new builds near the Aurora Reservoir.

Where we go in Aurora changes what we are looking for. Closer to Colfax Avenue and Original Aurora, older apartment buildings and tighter lot spacing mean more cockroaches and rodents working between units. Out past Gun Club Road and Southlands, newer homes built closer to open prairie see more ants and the occasional scorpion coming in along foundation gaps, especially in late summer. Near Fitzsimons and the Anschutz medical campus, mature landscaping and irrigation draw beetles and mosquitoes, and we treat bee activity in eaves and sheds across most of the city once the weather turns warm.
Aurora is really several different pest environments stitched into one city. Original Aurora, the older grid north of Colfax Avenue, has smaller lots, alley access, and housing stock going back to the mid-twentieth century, which means more shared walls, older foundations, and the cockroach and rodent pressure that comes with both. Drive twenty minutes southeast to Southlands or the newer ground past E-470 and the lots open up, the homes sit on slab or shallow crawl space, and they border undeveloped shortgrass prairie, which is where we start seeing ants and scorpions working in along foundation cracks and expansion joints. In between, the area around Fitzsimons and the Anschutz Medical Campus mixes dense multifamily housing with heavily irrigated lawns and landscaping, and that combination of water and warmth is what pulls in beetles and mosquitoes.
So the treatment plan depends on where the property sits, not just what is crawling on it. In Original Aurora we are sealing gaps around older window frames and checking shared utility penetrations between attached units. Near the prairie edge, the work is more about the foundation perimeter and keeping ants from bridging in from undeveloped lots next door. Near Fitzsimons, drainage and irrigation timing matter as much as any spray, because a lawn that is wet every evening keeps drawing pests back no matter what gets treated.
